The new Coinbase One credit card will start everyone off at 2% back in Bitcoin. Then, depending on how much you keep with Coinbase, you can earn up to 4% back, in Bitcoin, on all of your spend. You do need to be a Coinbase “One” member which is $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year and reduces or waives a lot of fees on crypto trading. It’s unclear what the dollar amount will be to earn 4x, but then card would effectively facilitate earning spot bitcoin without fees via your credit card spend. It’s currently offering up a waitlist ( which I’m on ) and will be on Amex rails. If the balance to be held on Coinbase is reasonable, and the 4% is uncapped, this would quickly earn all of my spend.
