Save €900. Use points during Cannes Film Festival for Intercontinental Carlton
Just for giggles I looked up the Intercontinental Carlton, Cannes France to see HOW CRAZY room rates would be during the Cannes Film Festival. HOLY CRAP! Not only are they €900, but THE AMAZING THING is you can USE POINTS during the Cannes Film Festival to stay at the LEGENDARY, and THE BEST PLACE TO SEE CELEBS, the Intercontinental Carlton. I stayed there a couple of weeks ago on my mom’s HUGE surprise birthday trip around the world ( I haven’t done a review yet), and lemme tell you – it’s location is prime and it’s history is incredible. The problem…the price. Wait…problem?! No problem at all – just use points during the Cannes Film Festival for Intercontinental Cannes and SAVE YOURSELF A HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY.
The Intercontinental Cannes runs 60k a night. Or if you have the IHG Chase Credit card you could use your free anniversary night.
You need to play around with the dates and this is for tonight. Obviously this very last minute, and I’d guess if you aren’t already at the festival – you probably aren’t going.
This is great information for next year if you were planning on attending the festival.
The hotel is in need of some tender loving care, but the location is superb, it’s gorgeous and MOST OF ALLL……THE CELEBS. The Carlton is known for its press junkets and the bar and beach restaurant are littered with stars during the festival.
Don’t have the points? You can buy points right now for $0.00575 per point. Through buying IHG points you can stay in a €900 room for $345. BYAH!
I thought it was crazy that Points rates were even an option during such a HIGH VOLUME period. Lemme know if you end up going!
