I heavily debated canceling my Citi Prestige, but ultimately decided that the benefits outweighed the costs for at least one year more. I’m not 100% sure I made the right decision, but I do plan on going on a honeymoon next year and figured the 4th night free could come in handy depending on where we ended up going. It’s been less than a month since my renewal, and I just received the following targeted offer. Needless to say, I’ll be pivoting my online purchases to my Prestige to earn a cushy 5x points on those purchases. Note that this is capped at 7500 points, which should ring a bell, since this is the cap Chase puts on their Freedom Flex rotating categories.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
