Wow. Never did I ever think this would happen this quickly. Yes, they said it would be this month. But…did I think they’d iron the sheets this quickly? I was skeptical, but it’s live and being processed through Points.com.
You can go here to transfer between programs. Note that you need to select which you want to move points from, and it’s limited to 500k per transaction. I made a pretty big bet on this happening, and congrats to whomever else moved points from Amex to Hawaiian to score Alaska miles as this now looks to be dead.

It will auto log you in to both programs – make sure your account info matches ( name, email, etc ). You’ll use a slider to transfer miles once you’ve logged in. I transferred miles from Hawaiian to Alaska and it was instaneous.
Are Amex to Hawaiian transfers done?
Frequent Miler is showing that their transfers have failed. I tried on my account and it’s pending – no miles have been withdrawn nor have any shown up at Hawaiian. I’m thinking this isn’t going to end up working and the Amex to Hawaiian to Alaska transfer is donezo.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
