Transfer Citi Thank You to Hilton Honors 1:2
I received an email this morning alerting me to a new transfer bonus from Citi Thank You to Hilton Honors. Now until 9/20/2017 you’ll receive 2 Hilton Honors points for each Thank You point. The normal rate of transfer is 1.5 Hilton Honors for every Thank You point so this is an effective 33% bonus. Is it worth it? If you have a very specific redemption in mind and you’re short…maybe. Hilton has offers to buy points all the time for Half a Cent. That would mean you’re effectively getting a penny a point for Citi Thank You if you were to take advantage of this offer. You can redeem Citi Thank You for 1.6 cents ( until July 23rd) for American Airlines flights, and 1.33 cents for all other airlines ( including AA after July 23rd). Worth knowing the transfer bonus is out there if you’re really heavy on Citi Thank You points, but this is a big pass for me.
