American Express is running their own promotion for express checkout. Between now and May 17, 2018 you can earn two additional points by using Amex Express Checkout with certain retailers. This deal is capped at $2500 which amounts to 5k bonus points. Not only does using Amex Express Checkout eliminate the hassle of putting all of your card information ( you simply sign into your Amex account at checkout) it also creates a unique digital card-number that is only used with that merchant therefore reducing the risk of identity theft. Some of the features of Amex Checkout. I don’t see any reason not to use this. Presumably this can be stacked with other promotions as well.
If you’re going to buy something at Neiman Marcus and are using a portal to purchase, you should be able to then purchase with Amex Express and get 2x Amex points as well as your portal bonus.
