One of my favorite perks of American Express cards are their targeted Amex offers. They’ve ranged from mega bonuses on buying furniture ( 20k points for $1k purchase) to statement credits on Four Seasons, 10k for a single purchase, and now they’re offering two very solid offers on Crowne Plaza and Intercontinental stays. I’d highly recommend you check your Amex offers frequently to make sure you are abreast of the current offers and updates.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.

Annual fee is quite low at $95 a year + you get a 10% anniversary bonus on points + $50 hotel credit in Chase travel.
