A revision to the The Health Protection Bill, which can be found here, has added an interesting stipulation regarding people outside the same household being inside together. First off…two people, who don’t live together, are now prohibited from being under the same roof, and if they are caught, they will be prosecuted. So no sexy time, netflixing and chilling, having tea with your nan, or cracking open an Ale with Clive after your aloted 60 mins of daily exercise.. In addition to this…no sleepovers permitted even if you’re related to person. I mean, what is going on?

This comes as the UK has implemented a 14 day quarantine, urged contact tracing apps, and news hitting that more than 200k people have reported violations on their neighbors. Here’s a look at snipits from the actual bill.

No sleepovers…unless you meet a qualified reason

Here are the reasonable excuses…none of which are – hey I miss my parents, sister, brother, or friend, mate.

6 people outside, no more than 1 person inside.

The UK has limited gatherings to 6 people outside and indoors no more than 1 person…2 is a violation.

So if you’ve been dating for a while and want to hang out and watch a movie with your boyfriend or girlfriend…that’s a no go. Want to go and visit your mom or dad and they aren’t sick or you’re not providing medical care…keep it to the garden.

Be careful with the truth there Jackson.
    Some truths are illegal.

Those are all definitely laws that people should go out of their way to break.

Unbelievable. The birthplace of the concept of individual rights in the western world surrenders them nearly completely, and all it took was a bad cold. We, the US, probably aren’t far behind.

A certain quote from Ben Franklin never seemed more applicable.

This is why the police are evil. They will blindly enforce abusive laws which violate fundamental freedoms like speech, private property, and association. The narrative has been that the police disproportionately abuse blacks. However, that is not the case. Cops abuse all people no matter their background. More whites are killed every year by police in the states from traffic stops than other groups. All lives matter, and we should not be singling out one group like blacks that commit a disproportionately high amount of violence themselves, and not recognize that all groups are affected by police.
