Marriott/SPG Moments can grant access to some pretty exclusive events.
If you’re a foodie, and/or a fan of Netflix’s Chef’s Table then this may be a cool way to use some of your Marriott Rewards or SPG Starpoints. It’s not some fancy hotel or lie flat flight, but it gives grants access for two people to experience something very rare: A 3 star Michelin Starred dining experience with the chef. Later today, an auction is ending to not only dine at Chef Alain Passard’s Arpège, the 3 Michelin Star Parisian restaurant famed for being vegetarian/vegan friendly, but also meet the chef, tour his kitchen, and THEN enjoy a multi-course tasing menu with wine pairing on May 11. The auction ends later today
Here’s the Netflix intro to his segment. This was one of my favorite episodes.

Here are the auction details:
At the time of writing this…( yesterday afternoon) the bidding had only risen to 30,500 Starpoints. Just 91,500 Marriott Rewards. If you recall…SPG had a sale earlier in the year whereby you could purchase points for 2.28 cents. At 30,500 starpoints the winning bid would fork over the equivalent of $695. Tasting menus start at 320 Euros for all vegetarian and rise to 390 Euros for Earth and Sea. Add on the wine pairing and you’re talking a 1000 Euro dinner for two people.
