A option for those considering the 60k public offer.
Last week I put out a post that showed increased bonuses on both the Amex Delta Gold and Platinum cards, 60k and 70k, respectively. The Gold version does include a $50 statement credit post Delta purchase. Yesterday, I was booking a flight on Delta.com and came across another option that I thought may be of interest to some readers: Amex Delta Gold 50k + $150 statement credit after $2k spend.
You will need to “make a booking.” In quotes because you don’t need to actually book the ticket, just get far enough along in the process that they will offer you the credit card option. It’ll look like this…
Like the 60k offer, the statement credit is applied after a Delta purchase, but this is a trade off of 10k points for $100 in statement credit. Personally, I’d go with the 60k offer…but this is an option if you prefer it.
Which do you prefer?
