If you’re gunning for Alaska Airlines status the airline has made it a little bit easier for you. Until 12/31/21 you’ll receive a 50% bonus on the EQMs you earn when you fly on flights “Marketed and Operated” by Alaska Airlines. This means that if you buy an Alaska Airlines flight from the AA website, or anywhere other than Alaska, you’ll earn the normal amount. So, if you’re wanting to take advantage of the bonus, you need to buy flights from Alaska and fly on Alaska planes.
