AA 777-300ER ORD-LAX pay economy, fly business class
I was perusing flights to and from Chicago and came across a the 777-300ER ORD-LAX route. I was shocked and very pleased that the 77W was going to be routed through Chicago to my main hub LA. This is a great opportunity to fly on an international business class product for the price of economy. Let’s check it out a little more.
I’m still investigating to see how many times a week this flight occurs but here is the Tuesday 2452 flight.
Fly on an internationally configured jet on a domestic route to enjoy business class at a discount.
When you are on a route that only sells 2 cabin tickets, a 3 cabin plane allows main cabin extra economy passengers to sit in business class. You’ll not receive an amenity kit, blanket, pillow, meal, etc. But you are flying in an outstanding business class for the price of domestic coach. BYAH BYAH BYAH!!!
I then investigated on flyertalk to see what people were saying about this new routing…below is a good list of the 77W routes. Flyertalk is a great resource that I use regularly.
Here’s a look at the product you will be flying. I love it. And have reviewed it a few times. Both in the main business class cabin and the mini cabin. It’s a reverse herringbone, fully lie flat seat that makes you feel like a
Upgrading this flight will put you in International First Class
I wrote an article earlier in June about my 500 miles upgrades WERK WERK WERKing me into business class from LAX-MIA. Well on this 777-300ER ORD-LAX route those 5 hundos would WERK me right into International First class. That is a cabin I’d love to try out and haven’t yet…so fingers crossed.
Here’s a peek at First Class as American markets it:
