There is a targeted transfer bonus between Amex and AeroMexico currently running until February 15th, 2022. Transfer bonuses represent fantastic opportunities to get great redemptions at even better prices. Usually Amex Membership Rewards transfer in a ratio of 1000 to 1600, but during the bonus period, you’ll receive 1920 AeroMexico Premier Miles. Let’s take a look

Here’s the transfer bonus: Pretty close to 1:2

What’s a good way to use AeroMexico miles?

Their best cabin is on their dreamliner 787-9 featuring a lie flat, all aisle access, super diamond business class. It’s one of my favorite designs. Here’s a look at the pricing between Mexico City and Paris = 95k Premier Miles. During this promotion, you’ll nab it for around 48k Membership Rewards. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

  • […] 20% transfer bonus to Aeromexico Club Premier through February 15 very few people are going to want to do this. […]

The transfer is nowhere close 1:2. Aeromexico uses kilometers as points, not miles. So, 1000 Membership rewards become 1920 KILOMETERS, which equate to 1200 miles.
As advertised it is a 20% transfer bonus. You transfer 1000 MR and you get 1200 Miles, which equate to 1920 kms.

I can’t tell if you’re joking or not, but I use miles and points interchangeably, maybe I shouldn’t, but 1000 amex points = 1920 aeromexico club premier points

It’s great to see Amex doing more transfer bonuses with international carriers. And i love the super diamond business class seats also. My favorite!
