We write about Amex Offers a lot, and for good reason. Unsure what Amex Offers are, and how you can add them to your account? Read this in depth post.

I find throughout the year the savings that can be had by adding Amex Offers to your targeted cards can outweigh your annual fee without taking any other benefits into consideration. Maybe not the entirety of the $1200+ that I pay in Amex Annual fees from my 5 cards, but every bit helps. Some of the most rewarding Amex Offers are in the travel industry, which is right up our alley. Amex is currently offering a fantastic 15k bonus on Air Canada spend in addition to whatever your card would normally earn.

What does that mean?

Well, specifically, my Amex Platinum was targeted and it earns 5x points on every dollar I spend directly with the airline. This offer requires that purchases be made via the Airline so you’ll double up on points. 5x for the $750 required and another 15k, meaning that you could be earning 18,750 points on a $750 purchase. Pretty amazing. Personally I value Membership Rewards at roughly 2 cents so that’s like getting $375 back on a $750 purchase. That is insane return, and a few of my 5 cards were actually targeted for this offer meaning it’s probably targeting a fair number of accounts.

Interested in the cards that I keep in my wallet?

Here are the 5 American Express Cards that I keep and links to their current offers, why we have them, and recommend your consideration.

Let’s take a look at the Spend $750 get 15k Membership Rewards offer

  • Spend $750+ get 15k Membership Rewards
  • Online transactions must be at the US Air Canada site as mentioned below
  • Spend must be complete by 12/18/2019
  • One or MORE transactions can be completed
  • Make sure you read the full exclusions on your targeted offer.

Overall:

Not everyone will be targeted for this Amex Offer or any offer that we publicize, but you should always add offers to your account if you think there is even the slightest chance you’ll use it. Also, did you know that you’ll only see 100 offers? If you add some to your account and refresh, you’ll get even more populated, so it always pays to add them to your account. I’m not entirely sure this will be an offer that I’ll make use of since I don’t have any travel planned by 12/18 on Air Canada, but hopefully one of you reading will hit a heavy cache of points because of it.
