Singapore Airlines launches mySQupgrade:
I received an email with an invitation to explore the new bid to upgrade program with Singapore Airlines: mySQupgrade
At this point, it appears mySQupgrade is ‘invitation only’ and allows bids from economy to premium economy. Per the conditions, you will enjoy the service of the upgraded cabin; however, the fare restrictions and miles you earn will be based off of your original fare. Here’s the full list of terms
It also appears that not all fares will be upgradeable
In addition to not all fares being included, it also looks like not all flights on a single itinerary are necessarily upgradeable, and multiple tickets purchased together may not all be upgradeable either.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
