Buy American Airlines miles for under $0.02
Almost every month American Airlines puts their miles on “sale” with some sort of bonus that effectively reduces the per point price to around $0.02 – usually a little over. However, this month, they just flat out put them on sale. This is a great deal for folks who aren’t looking to drop nearly $5000 on points ( I mean, that’s A LOT of cash.) to reduce the per point price to $0.02. With this deal you can incrementally buy points to earn a bigger discount, maxing out at 40% off the retail price. This means that you can buy American Airlines miles for under $0.02 – $0.0192 to be exact.

Or keep it simple and Fly on American’s 777-300ER from the U.S. to Europe for 57,500 miles. That’s only $1104 to fly biz to Europe. Although I will admit finding availability is quite cumbersome, but is possible. It is a fantastic product!
Or Perhaps fly Cathay Pacific Business Class to Asia for 70k miles. $1344 to buy a splendid ride where you will lie-flat and be tended to like an heir to the throne.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
