Earlier today one of my instagram followers reached out and told me she was having a lot of problems with the Frontier GoPass she purchased. If you’re unfamiliar this is the unlimited flight pass that Frontier was marketing a couple of months ago…Unfortunately, in true Frontier fashion, it hasn’t been great.

The pass isn’t due to go into effect until next year ( May 3rd ), but after purchasing the pass, it’s not showing up in her account, nor are any options available to cancel. The fine print of the terms and conditions say that it was auto-renew at $1999 a year ( ARE YOU SERIOUS ) which was one of the big reasons I said it was a big fat pass. The pass is still available for purchase and I would seriously advise a deep dive to make sure you are comfortable with the headache that may ensue.

She sent me screenshots of her interactions with Frontier…

Here is a screenshot saying the Pass and cancellation options should be in her account

Here are screenshots of her profile and her GoWild Pass isn’t there

She couldn’t find any mention of the GoWild Pass and nothing about cancelling so reached out to customer service

No help from Customer Service

When asking how to cancel the pass… they say, just cancel the pass before it auto renews. Uhhhhh what?

My Thoughts

Frontier still has a few months before the pass officially begins in May, but for anyone that has purchased it already they’re basically hanging in the dark. Hopefully they can get accounts updated including the option to cancel online otherwise I have a bad feeling a lot of people are going to get stuck with a major auto renewal bill if they aren’t on top of it.

We keep an up to date spreadsheet that lists the best ever offers: You can find that spreadsheet here.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.

Main Cast:

Cards that earn flexible points and should be used on the bulk of your purchases.

Supporting Cast:

Cards that earn fixed points in the currency of the airline/hotel and can not be transferred at attractive rates. These cards yield benefits that make it worth keeping, but not necessarily worth putting a lot of your everyday spend on.

The Chase Sapphire Preferred® is exceptional starter card and offers transferrable Ultimate Rewards, and pairs well with other Chase cards.

If you carry this card alongside Chase’s cashback cards like the Chase Freedom Flex®  and Chase Freedom Unlimited® or the business versions: Ink Business Cash® , Ink Business Unlimited® you can combine the points into Preferred account and transfer into hotel and airline partners

Annual fee is quite low at $95 a year + you get a 10% anniversary bonus on points + $50 hotel credit in Chase travel.

    Hi All,

FRONTIER, GO wild pass is biggest SCAM ever.

I purchased go wild pass for a year on 11/8/2022, and mine expires on 51/2024.
I tried multiple times, to multiple cities, with different dates (they are not blackout dates listed). Every time my go wild pass says not available. But the flight is available with standard nad discount den purchase.

I reached out and chatted with them, as that’s the only to reach this treacherous company.

What they said is unbelievable and nothing below they said that is not in TERMs or conditions in their website for go wild pass.
    1. Said its first come and first serve basis
    2. When I asked, what is that, they said, some other passenger might have used go wild pass, that’s why it’s not available for you
    3. When I asked, is there limit per flight, said its all system generated, they don’t have control on it, either system gives it or not
    4. When I asked, frontier controls system and its controlling it, like gambling, you don’t know that you get into and house never looses
    5. They said, they can’t do anything about it, go wild pass is limited, system controls it , first come first serve.
    6. They don’t know how many seats for go wild pass, so you will never ever know until you try

That’s all the above they came with in this crazy cheating scam. No one in their absolute mind will buy a unlimited pass with the above conditions. That’s why they didn’t kept in conditions at all. It is when you reach to them, they will tell you.

Never buy at all. if you want just fly cheap discount den is good enough. Never ever buy go wild pass.

It is absolute, very intelligent SCAM, that costs you money , energy and mental peace. And you can’t even fly few flights free, to get amount you paid at least, forget about unlimited. This is just outrageous.

I really someone sues them , as a group petition and group lawsuit.

    From,

Very disappointed customer who got cheated by this FRONTIER GO WILD PASS SCAM

Only secure that pass with a virtual account number that self-expires?
