Capital One Landing
In 2021 Capital One debuted their first ever lounge at the DFW airport in Dallas with Denver and Washington D.C. ( IAD ) opening in the upcoming months. I think the Dallas Capital One lounge is arguably the best domestic lounge featuring carry out food. Now, we’re learning that Capital One is unveiling a new chef-driven concept with exclusive parnter José Andrés called Capital One Landing. The José Andrés Group will design the food and beverage menu focusing on Spanish style tapas.
José Andrés, chef, humanitarian and bestselling author had this to say about Capital One Landing
“Travel is a huge part of my life, and food is deeply linked to the travel experience,” said chef José Andrés. “It’s the best way to learn about a place and its people. But as someone who spends a lot of time in airports, many times I find myself wanting more. When Capital One came to us with the idea of creating a new kind of dining experience, our team immediately started to think of the Spanish tapas way of eating with the bounty of American farms and traditions – the very best of both countries. We cannot wait to share these new Capital One Landings with the people of the world!”
