There is currently an 80k offer after $4k spend in 3 months available in branch, and up to 90k after $6k spend in 6 months. I suspect some version of this will be online soon if you don’t want the hassle of going into a branch.

We keep an up to date spreadsheet that lists the best ever offers: You can find that spreadsheet here.

Historically 60k is a very, very good offer. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back. .

Main Cast:

Cards that earn flexible points and should be used on the bulk of your purchases.

Supporting Cast:

Cards that earn fixed points in the currency of the airline/hotel and can not be transferred at attractive rates. These cards yield benefits that make it worth keeping, but not necessarily worth putting a lot of your everyday spend on.

Easy pass at 60k SUB. Way better offers on more than a dozen other cards. Don’t waste a 5/24 slot.

Just opened last month with 60000 points offer. :(((
    Will they match current offer?

    • Miles June 14, 2022

Citi is ordinarily quite good about matching within 90 days so give them a holler and see!

  • […] transfer partners; however, they are a bit more nuanced than you’ll find with Chase or Amex. Read our full review here, but this is a great […]

You make some compelling arguments. Can a current cardholder get a second one if the 24 month criteria are met? Asking for a friend.

    • Miles November 22, 2021

Christian – technically yes you can. whether they will approve is hit or miss. another thing to be aware of is that if you were to downgrade your current CTYP you’d have 60 days to use or lose our points. You could transfer them to a program prior to downgrading, but there’s now way around the 60 day expiration rule
