It’s July 1st peeps, which means it’s time to start earning your Freedom 5x Restaurant and Wholesale Club bonuses. If you haven’t activated your category bonuses yet. Go here
I totally forgot and bought breakfast this morning and used my Chase Sapphire card to earn 2x dining. But don’t be like me and remember to use your Chase Freedom Card!!!!
Remember that every quarter there is a new 5x category bonus up to $1500 per quarter. This quarter’s category is restaurants and wholesale clubs like Sam’s, BJ’s, and Costco. If you only have a Chase Freedom card you will earn 5% cash back because the Chase Freedom card is technically a cash back card. But, if you carry a Sapphire Preferred, Ink Plus, or Ink Bold card then for every $50 of cash back you can choose 5000 Ultimate Rewards. This is because those are all premium cards that they themselves earn Ultimate Rewards and the balance from Freedom card can be moved into your collective UR account.
What can you do with Ultimate Rewards?
Transfer to Hyatt
Stay at the Andaz West Hollywood like I did for 10000 + $125 a night
Or Fly Cathay Pacific Business class by Transferring to British Airways Avios
Check out my how to video here.
