Amex to Air France 25% Transfer Bonus until 4/29/2019
One of the great things about American Express is they frequently offer transfer bonuses to their partners. Case in points. Until April 29th, you’ll get a 25% bonus when you transfer into Flying Blue. This creates a great opportunity to score business class seats across the pond for under 50k each way. It is worth noting that Air France levies a few hundred bucks for taxes and fees. However, you’ll earn 5x points when you pay those with an Amex Platinum…one of the 10 reasons I think the card is worth the $550 annual fee.
The Amex 25% transfer bonus to Air France:
I flew from Paris to Washington D.C. for 55k miles and $330 in taxes and fees. With this transfer bonus just 44k miles
Sure the taxes and fees aren’t nothing, but my goodness, that’s a helluva deal at 44k and it’s a fabulous business class.
Don’t forget Amex is also offering a 15% bonus on miles transferred to Avianca.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
