I recently had my first Covid-19 test in Indiana prior to visiting my family. While it was fairly easy and didn’t require an appointment or symptoms it required waiting in a parking lot for a long time to have a heavily PPE’d tech tickle my brain. I needed to register with Quest Diagnostics and everything was done through insurance. As a result, I’m sure my istagram account got targeted for an at home Covid-19 test because of my search history, but I received an ad for the Everlywell at home Covid-19 test.

I’ve taken quite a few Everlywell at home tests to check vitamin absorptions, nutritional type stuff in the past and have been pretty pleased with the ease of the process. They mail you everything you need, you collect your own samples, mail them, and then you can access them digitally.

Everlywell now offers this same at-home Covid-19 test that is fully reimbursable from your insurance and allows you do to the nasal swab at home and have your results in 3 days of receiving your sample. My negative result took 5 days.

With more and more travel restrictions including Covid-19 tests this may be easier than getting an appointment or waiting at a drive thru testing center. With that said, I do know that some centers are offering cheek swabs which would be far more comfortable. You can read

You can click through to Everlywell to see the list of restrictions and who exactly should take the test. It’s pretty similar to the requirements of any testing site, but if you think you may have it, or think you may have been in contact with someone, exhibiting symptoms…then you qualify. Of course, if you’re a caretaker, looking to travel, etc I would assume these are qualify as well.
