Look for the A350 routes.

Currently, only Delta’s A350 business class is outfitted with a Vantage XL seat that has doors on it. It is one sexy looking business class seat and cabin. A monster tv screen, lie flat seats, and when you’re tired of seeing anyone you simply close the door ON YOUR AIRPLANE SEAT. Way to go Delta. I’ve yet to review the product, but from other reviews, most are quite impressed. Slowly but surely, Delta is starting to release award seats on these flights, too. Asia and Europe are currently being serviced – so if you’re planning a trip there, it may be worth routing your trip to experience Delta One Suites. Award space is virtually nil, but there have been reports that people have locked down space last minute…

The A350 currently services these routes:

  • Detroit to Tokyo
  • Detroit to Seoul
  • Detroit to Beijing
  • Detroit to Amsterdam
  • Atlanta to Seoul

Beginning on April 19th, 2018

  • Detroit to Shanghai

Starting July 2nd, 2018

  • Los Angeles to Shanghai

So once LAX to PVG is integrated their A350 route map will look like this:

While it’s not saver…deep in the calendar you can find inventory at 125k – cheapest from Asia is 94k.

Wow, they’re really raking you over the coals if you’re trying to use miles, but that’s just Delta being Delta, I suppose.
