Major sale on Icelandair travel packages

Icelandair is running a pretty darn good deal to visit Iceland.

  • Travel between October 15, 2022 and March 16, 2023.
  •  August 17-31, 2022.
  • The packages include roundtrip airfare, hotel, and 3 tours. You’ll hit up the Blue Lagoon right after landing.

Prices are being advertised as $749 for the package with economy flights and $2005 for Saga Premium, their business class. Note, it’s not lie flat and is roughly akin to what you’d find in a recliner first class product within the United States. I actually did a quick search and found a Saga Premium package out of Chicago for a little over $1500 per person with an entry level hotel. That’s a darn good deal, and if you wanted a nicer hotel, you could always pay the premium to upgrade.

I visited Iceland in January of 2020 and got completely snowed out of all our tours aside from Blue Lagoon. I had a friend visit a few weeks later and had picture perfect weather. This sale is during the fall/winter/spring months just if you book, take the weather into consideration.

Ah, as usual, it’s based on 2 travelers together. I should know better than to check out these deals, as that is always the case.
