Track bags on American with your smartphone app
ICMYI – American Airlines launched a live bag tracking program late last year, but many people don’t know about it. Typically, I only take a carry-on with me, but over Christmas break is a different story. I’ll not only be packing for cold Indiana weather, but also my fantastic trip to Southeast Asia to trace Miles’ roots. I will definitely check a bag and take a carry-on. With this service I can not only track my bag online, but I can also use the app. Here’s how you can track bags on American with your smartphone app.
You can track them on aa.com this way
You can search by your Record Locator or your bag tag number.
Bags are checked at 6 different points between check-in and baggage claim.
Here’s the good stuff…You can track them on the app.
All you do is enter your info and let the live tracking begin.
If you’re a worry-wart like Miles you use this feature to fly a little more care-free knowing exactly where your bags are at all times.
