How to search for Etihad Award space in 4 simple steps
I’ve had a few people ask me how I booked the Etihad First Class Apartment American Airlines Aadvantage miles. Well, what a great question indeed. Finding Etihad award space is very easy and straight forward and Miles has whipped up an easy to follow guide – one that he used to book the business studio last year. So now if someone asks YOU how to search for Etihad award space, you can break it down for them in 4 simple steps.
Step one – go to Etihad.com
Once you’ve found yourself on Etihad.com click on “Etihad Guest.” The great thing is you can search without even having a login or account. Thanks Etihad!
Step two – Book flights
Step three – Search for your desired route and cabin
I selected AUH to LHR which usually has great availability and the First Class Apartment for a random date in October.
Step four – look for “Guest Seat” availability
This is the inventory available to partners and is the equivalent to “saaver” avail.
Final Bonus Step 😉 Call AA
Once you’ve found that the seats you want are available, call in to American Airlines (800-433-7300) and tell them the information and book your seats. Always write down the flight numbers, times, and airport codes. It’ll make it much easier for you and the rep. If you’re wondering how much flights will cost you…click here to view the AA award redemption charts.
I’m so excited to check this bad boy out. BYAH!
I absolutely loved the Etihad Business Studio aboard the 787 Dreamliner. What a gob-stopping product. How amazing that AA miles can put your booty here.
And if American’s US agents say the space isn’t available, ring Australia
