Track bags on American with your smartphone app

ICMYI – American Airlines launched a live bag tracking program late last year, but many people don’t know about it. Typically, I only take a carry-on with me, but over Christmas break is a different story. I’ll not only be packing for cold Indiana weather, but also my fantastic trip to Southeast Asia to trace Miles’ roots. I will definitely check a bag and take a carry-on. With this service I can not only track my bag online, but I can also use the app. Here’s how you can track bags on American with your smartphone app.

You can track them on aa.com this way

I’ve used this a couple times this year. It’s works good.
I saw a news story a couple weeks ago saying how United or Delta (I forget) had just launched this and was a first and how cutting edge it was. Poor research on that I say 🙂
