It’s located in the Taipei 101 and don’t make the same mistake as I did. I was in Taipei for 2 nights and 1 full day and was really looking forward to grabbing a cup on the 35th floor of Taipei’s landmark 101. HOWEVER…you need to make reservations if you’d like to visit the World’s tallest Starbucks and we didn’t have them. On top of that…they were booked solid for several days.

The reason many people go up is because they’re like me and they’re addicted to Starbucks. Seriously, why else would you make a reservation at a Starbucks when there is one in the basement without all this hassle? It’s because Starbucks addicts, like myself,  must enjoy it at the highest altitude possible, and in the most exclusive of ways, and will feel completely bereft if they miss on out this experience. I know I do. But seriously… The views are apparently amazing and you don’t have to pay the fee to go all the way up the 101.

Here’s the deets:

  • You have to spend roughly $6
  • You’re limited to 90 minutes
  • The number is below with country code
  • Don’t even try to wear slippers or shorts.

To find it. Look for this view…specifically these poles.

Inside you’ll see these Kiosks

Do not do this…it will not work. Regardless of what posted on other sites.  There were no exceptions.

I read a few different anecdotal stories about how you could bypass the reservation rule, by requesting another business on the 35th floor. Since we didn’t know exactly when we’d want to go, we made the mistake of trusting these stories. They didn’t work.
