JetBlue is on the ropes. Business ain’t good. So… they’re drumming up some fun press by offering up a big promotion that will certainly have a lot of AV geeks chomping at the bit. So what is it? In the next 6 months, if you fly JetBlue non basic fare flights to between 15 and 25 different airports, you’ll receive mega bonuses…up to 350k JetBlue points and 25 years of their lowest tier status Mosaic 1. The question remains…Will JetBlue even be around in 25 years, and if they merge or are acquired will the new airline honor those 25 years of status?

The promotion terms:

One thing that will help you accumulate more “destinations” is that one city may have multiple serviced airports, and all of those airports count as different destinations. Also, and importantly, Basic fares don’t count

  • Runs between 6/25 and 12/31/25
  • 15 different airports
    • 150k TrueBlue Points
  • 20 different airports
    • 200k more TrueBlue points ( total of 350k )
  • 25 different airports
    • all those points and Mosaic 1 status for 25 years.

What flights count?

  • JetBlue-operated flights, excluding Blue Basic fares. No codeshare flights.
  • The final destination airport has not been flown previously between 6/25-12/31/25 (must be a unique destination/airport)
  • Your TrueBlue number is attached to the booking
  • It is not a Blue Basic fare or a codeshare flight.

Basically you’ll get 2 free bags, an alcoholic beverage in flight, early boarding, dedicated check in counter, and same day switches

Hands down, the best use of JetBlue points is redeeming them for Qatar Airways business class. 350k would be almost enough for 2 people to fly roundtrip from the US to Doha in Qsuites.

Will I be doing this?

Nah.
