Let’s be honest. Sometimes you don’t want to read a whole review. So we’ve created a new series called POP: Pictures Only Post. Posts in this series will feature the product, minimal description, and focus on 5-10 Pics.  A more detailed review will come in the following week or two, but here’s a quick look at the Park Hyatt Siem Reap, Park Suite King.

We redeemed 15,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points per night. Rates were nearly $400 for an entry level room – amazing value!

Check in –

You’ll be escorted to the library where you’ll be offered welcome drinks, which we ultimately had delivered to the room. Later in the day we came back and enjoyed happy hour. The drinks ARE AMAZING.

After we got our keys we moseyed around a bit. They have two pools for guests to enjoy.

The main level, a salt water lap pool

And another on the 2nd floor. A freeform pool surrounded by lounge chairs and bridges. If you’re looking for the spa…it’s at the far end.

The hotel upgraded us to a Park Suite King and we couldn’t wait any longer to check it out. OUTSTANDING! Everything is teak and designed in the classic Khmer style.

There is a great cafe, The Glasshouse Deli, on the main level that has DELICIOUS gelato and home-made ice cream. The pastries are outstanding as well. Yep…put on a few lbs on this trip 🙂

And don’t miss the Afternoon Tea! I can honestly say it’s a perfect blend of classic and local influence. Highly, highly recommend!

Breakfast is served in the morning at The Dining Room. We chose to have ours outside to enjoy this incredible courtyard. Free, courtesy of Diamond status. BYAH!

More to come!

Wish I’d known about this place when I was there, we stayed in a great little boutique venue but the pool was not a splash on this. No monkeys in town either!

Anne – the best part of the place…it was free =)

Great stuff! We loved the PH Siem Reap when we went last year. Actually got upgraded to arguably the best suite I have ever been in when we got there! Great use of the Free Cat 1-4 credit card night!
