If you’re a resident of one of the states listed below, you’ll join the ever growing club of “banned from New York.” Is it a ban? not exactly, you’ll just need to quarantine for 14 days. Currently, if your state is testing positive at a rate above 10 per 100,000 people, or 10% positivity rate over a 7 day rolling period…you’re not going to New York as it is prohibited without quarantine. Interestingly enough, Cuomo did travel to Georgia this past week ( where tests have been coming in at a 15% positive rate ) to deliver PPE and aid to two Savannah testing sites. If you’re wondering if Cuomo and his staff will be forced to quarantine upon his return to NY, the answer is negative Ghost Rider the pattern is full.  As the DemocratandChronicle puts it: “Those who travel to do work deemed essential by the state are not required to quarantine. Cuomo’s trip also lasted less than 24 hours. The travel advisory exempts travel to a hard-hit state that lasts less than a day, though that’s generally meant to include flyovers and people driving through. ”

If you’re from one of these states…your trip to NY will have to be put on pause for the time being.

So? Who cares? Nobody with two functioning brain cells would set foot anywhere near there.
