Review: Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge LAX
I don’t get to fly out of Terminal 2 very often as I try and align most of my travel with American, but last week I had the pleasure of flying Air Canada to Edmonton. For starters, Terminal 2 far exceeded my expectations. I’d have to say it’s my 2nd favorite terminal at LAX, second to Tom Bradley International. Anyways…While I was in Terminal 2 I had the chance to visit the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge LAX.

Check-In
Since I was on a business class ticket that was all I needed to show to gain access. However, if I had just wanted to see the lounge I could have gained access with my Priority Pass Select membership. I have two memberships, one from my Citi Prestige, and another from my American Express Platinum. I only carry my Citi Prestige Priority Pass Select card though as it gains me entry for 2 additional guests.
Everyone is so nice in Canada…even in their American lounges =)The Lounge attendant and staff could not have been nicer.
The lounge is bright, airy, and very well maintained. Here’s the main area
You’l turn immediately to your right and find the main seating area of the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge. Half way down you’ll find the main food stations with coffee, spirits, and cold beverages as well.
The rear of the lounge has some seating areas with more privacy
The lounge isn’t overly large but it is SOOO well maintained. Far better than a lot of domestic lounges I’ve frequently. The rear of the lounge was completely empty. You could easily sit back here and get some rest, work, or quiet time without disturbance.

Showers:
They weren’t the most luxurious of showers, but they fit the bill. It was early in the morning when I visited the lounge and I’d already showered at home so I didn’t use them.
Overall
A very nice lounge in Terminal 2. The staff could not have been nicer, plenty of seating, and was superbly well maintained. On the downside, there wasn’t the largest food display ( but they were bringing out other options as I left) so take that into consideration, but if you’re looking for somewhere to nip away from the terminal…this is a great option.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
