How to: Take the BART to and from SFO
It’s looking like I’ll be transiting to Europe via San Francisco at the end of the month and will have a significant layover in San Fran. Option 1 leaves me with a night’s stay whereas option 2 leaves me with over 12 hours. Either way I thought I could go into town and see some sights/sites. Using the BART seems like a great way to save money and time.
An easy way to get in and out of downtown is the BART.
Bay Area Rapid Transit. In case you’re unfamiliar it’s a rapid train transit that connects metropolitan areas of the bay area with one another. It’s a great way to avoid traffic and from SFO to downtown area costs less than $9 each way.
