I was in NYC earlier this week and had the pleasure of attending a Hyatt event announcing over 200 new Hyatt Find Experiences premiering across 85 destinations in 30 countries. There were cocktails inspired from Japan and Mexico, chefs from the Park Hyatt Toronto and Andaz Scottsdale, an aerialist, and a sound bath from the Hyatt Regency Kyoto. It was all done to highlight the new experiences that featured properties around the world have curated and can be booked with either cash or points.

The these was in line with the Find Experiences motto: Feel, Fuel, Function

How many Hyatt points does it cost to book these Find Experiences?

The experiences range in price and length. They have Japanese whiskey tastings, historic Savannah walking tours and the point redemption isn’t that bad actually… I perused the cash rates and if you opted to use points, it was roughly 1.4c per point for redemption. Not horrible, but personally, I value World of Hyatt points betweeen 1.7 and 2 cents so I’d choose to use cash if I were to book any of these experiences.

How many points do I earn?

Should you choose to book them with cash you’ll earn 10x points per dollar. If you have a World of Hyatt credit card, you’ll earn an additional 4x.

Overall – go here to peruse

While I’m not sure I’d use points to book these experiences, my interest is definitely piqued via cash rates. If properties have specially curated experiences, I’m always interested and many of these sound very cool. I haven’t checked pricing to see if similar tours/experiences are offered nearby, so I’d definitely do that, but knowing I can earn 10x on them is a big plus in my book.
