Earn 2500 to 5k additional Membership Rewards after adding authorized users

New Round of offers sent out – expires 2/21 – Gold has targeted me, I’d assume Platinum and Green will come soon.

It’s all about the points, and Amex gets it. Whether it be Amex Offers, great welcome bonuses, category bonuses, and now bonuses for adding authorized users with low spend requirements, Amex continues to leverage their valuable Membership Rewards to retain brand loyalty.

Take me for example, I have 6 American Express cards, and pay over $1200 a year in annual fees?! I keep on keeping my cards year after year because of the points I earn outside of my normal spending.

I earn 55k per card, per year on referrals, and now have the opportunity to earn another 50k points by adding authorized users. The crazy thing is the same 4 people could be authorized users on each of the 3 cards. Total cost…zero.

Let’s take a look at this new offer I was targeted to receive, and why it may make sense for you to participate if targeted as well.

This is the exact same offer I received for adding users to my Gold card last year. Interestingly enough, this was targeted to my Platinum. I’ve also received 2500 per AU on my Amex Green

Note that if you add any Platinum card members they will enjoy Platinum benefits and 3 users cost $175, then $175 per each AU starting with the 4th.  Gold AUs are free, up to 5 cards. Depending on your situation it could make sense to add AUs either way.
