Amex has added new “all card” language making Universal referral official:
In fact, prior to today, my Amex Mercedes Benz Platinum didn’t have the ability to refer ( it’s a grandfathered card which will convert to a standard Amex Plat in January ’19). Now it does at 10k per referral, and it also confirms that Amex is promoting “all card” or universal referral. That’s incredible.
Since my American Express Mercedes Benz Platinum is retired – the referral link goes straight to the new Gold card with a 50k offer after $2k spend. Read this article to see all the insane benefits of this new Gold card.
