American Express is currently offering targeted Amex Offers for 1-800-Contacts. My offer was spend $175 and get $35 back. The fun doesn’t stop there tho because you can stack Amex offers with other cashback portals to get an even better deal on a little thing called eyesight.
Here’s the 1800Contacts offer
- Receive a $35 one time statment credit after spending $175+ on your qualified card by 6/1/19
Then we can stack that deal by checking out CashBackMonitor
You can check Top Cash Back here which is currently offering 14% back
I’ve had a lot of success with Top Cash Back, but some readers have expressed difficulty. There are always individual problems, but from what I can tell this isn’t a widespread issue, so I’m continuing to promote as I haven’t had any problems with my account.
If you don’t want CashBack and would prefer points, I’d personally use the Alaska portal even though it earns 1x less than the AA portal. Alaska is my program of choice, but make a decision that fits your goals and needs.
In total if you spent exactly $175, got the Amex Offer statement credit, and 14% back, you’d end up spending about $119, over $55 discount on contacts. Pretty solid deal.
