I’ve seen this offer written about in the last few months several times on Boarding Area and I think they target this to those who DON’T use their AMEX card to pay their cable bills. I use the AMEX plat card for as many bills as possible including cable for the Membership Rewards points. I look at my AMEX offers like an eagle every week and have not seen this offer at all.
