Thanks to @WhyNotFrufal on Insta for showing us a cool new feature that ALLLLLLL of us could benefit from dearly: A World of Hyatt Award Calendar. Yes…a calendar showing which days are cheaper for award redemptions. This is especially cool given the new Off Peak/Peak pricing that Hyatt has implemented.

I couldn’t get this to work on my computer, phone, or in app, so my thinking is they are testing it in certain markets, users, etc. But…it’s a really good sign and Go give @WhyNotFrugal some support for finding a dope new feature

When searching there was a “points calendar” tab populating

I couldn’t recreate this on the same hotel or same dates though.

And then voila – the most beautiful thing to happen to Hyatt since SLH and Alila 🙂

Hyatt Award Calendar

Overall this is a game changer

I’m able to see it. Tried the Park Hyatt Paris and there’s a link for an Award Calendar. Shows awards as low as 25K in March, a few days in August, etc. Every day in June is priced at 35K. Am Globalist as a data point.

To tag onto this, the calendar essentially shows you the pricing floor, but not availability. When you click the lowest rate on a set of dates it’s not tied to availability. Many dates I checked had no award rooms available, only premium suites, etc. Also, am on mobile.
