If you haven’t heard there was a report yesterday that electronic devices were going to be banned on Royal Jordanian flights to the U.S. It was based off a tweet, which has since been deleted, that said all but medical devices and phones would need to be checked. The ban was at the request of the U.S. relating to intelligence suspecting an imminent attack. Look below to see if your travels will be affected by an indefinite ban of electronic devices from 10 International airports to the U.S.
According to Bloomberg nonstop flights from the following cities will be affected:
- Cairo, Egypt
- Amman, Jordan

- Doha, Qatar
- Riyadh and Jeddah – Saudi Arabia
- Istanbul, Turkey

A U.S. official told The Associated Press the ban will apply to nonstop flights to the U.S. from 10 international airports serving the cities of Cairo in Egypt; Amman in Jordan; Kuwait City in Kuwait; Casablanca in Morocco; Doha in Qatar; Riyadh and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia; Istanbul in Turkey; and Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
