One of the questions I get a lot on TikTok is can I use my points at All-Inclusive resorts? I usually steer people to Hyatt Ziva and Zilara, but Marriott is now a major part of the discussion after adding a slew of All-Inclusive Properties throughout Mexico and and the Caribbean. If available, you can redeem Marriott Bonvoy points at the properties and enjoy some much needed R&R, all-inclusive from the moment you check in. Let’s take a look at the newest members of Marriott’s Autograph collection.

You could confuse the Royalton Antigua as a stunning Maldives property with its overwater bungalows, but no, it’s a new Marriott Autograph Collection property in Antigua

How you could look to book a 5 night stay starting with 0 Marriott points…

Marriott Category 7 properties offer a great off-peak entry point at 50k per night. Since all Marriott Bonvoy Members get a 5th night when redeeming points, you could effectively stay 5 nights for 200k Marriott Bonvoy Points. Let’s look at the Royalton Chic Cancun…

The Base room is a 600 sq ft Junior Suite Ocean Front…

A lot of this Month is 50k a night

a calendar with numbers and a few days of the week

If we look at what the cash rate would be from the 28th to the 2nd

a screenshot of a hotel room

Amex has a 30% transfer bonus running…you’d need 154k Amex points roughly 1.4 cents per Amex point

a screenshot of a company member rewards pointsIs that a good deal?

Personally, I like to get more than 2 cents per point. I probably wouldn’t look to execute this deal, but if you’re into all-inclusive and you’re looking at more peak times of the year, you’ll get a lot higher valuation per point. You’ll also pay more per night, but it may still be worth it to you. Just make sure you run the numbers.

Overall

I’m not really an all-inclusive fan, but a ton of people are, and this could be a great way for a lot of people who enjoy all-inclusive resorts to throw points at a redemption and have an all expense paid beach holiday.
