Big Hattip to VFTW for putting this post from Miles Earn and Burn on loud speaker. There has been a lot of chatter about the AA and Hyatt elite status challenges/matches ( read our post here ), but this one is open to anyone. Check it out:
You can read the full details on the FlyerTalk, but here’s the skinny. There are two levels of the challenge Explorist or Globalist, AND you get Explorist while you challenge ( and it’s valid until the end of the year. ) The biggest caveat here is that you need to call a Full Service Hyatt’s sales department and ask them to enroll you.
- Register by 11/30/21
- 90 days to fulfill the stay requirements
- 10 nights will keep Explorist
- 20 nights will get you Globalist
Remember that the requirements for each status have been cut in half for 2021 anyways…15 nights for Explorist and 30 nights for Globalist, so this is roughly 2/3 the already reduced number.
