Review: Louis Tavern CIP First Class Lounge Bangkok BKK
The Louis Tavern CIP First Class Lounge and the Louis Tavern CIP Business Class lounge were the only lounges open when we arrived into Bangkok. Since we Dave and I both have Priority Passes we headed to the First Class lounge. Ironically, our Japan Airlines flight from BKK to NRT gave us access to the business class lounge, not the first class lounge. We had several hours to kill, and it would have been nice if either the Japan Airlines Sakura lounge or the Cathay Pacific Lounge, but alas they were either closed or under renovation. Here’s a peek at the Louis Tavern CIP First Class Lounge Bangkok BKK.
Location
The lounge is located on the 3rd floor of Concourse A and partitioned into smaller seating areas.
We got in with our Priority Pass
It’s an easy place to kick back for a couple hours. We had roughly 3 hours and that was pushing it. There just isn’t a lot of space, but FAR more space that is available in the Louis Tavern CIP Business Class Lounge.
The Food selection.
I had spring rolls and noodles and they were fine. The juice did taste excellent and was very fresh. I may or may not have had a Thai beer as well 😉

Luckily when we arrived it was pretty empty. By the time we left to go and check out the Business Class lounge it had pretty much hit capacity.

Computer stations. Also the place to find the time.
Overall:
It meets the needs of a transit passenger well. There was good hot food, free Wifi and cold drinks. Beer, wine and liquor if you fancied and a place to sit away from the hubbub of BKK. More times than not that’s all I really care about when it comes to using my Priority Pass for a lounge. I’d say between the two of us, having a Priority Pass saved at least $10-$15 a piece on food/drink we would have purchased in the terminal. While it would have been cool to see what the Airlines offer, we filled up before our redeye flight in comfort.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
