Capital One continues to build out its US lounge network and my oh my…this one looks absolutely gorgeous. It is scheduled to open this Thursday, June 19. Located in JFK’s Terminal 4. Two interesting features of this lounge are the cheese tasting room/table as well as the rare alcohol that you can purchase and consume in the lounge – think 1950s bourbon, ec.

Here is all the information about the lounge, provided by Capital One

  • Locally Sourced Bites: In addition to Capital One’s signature small plate options and industry-leading grab-and-go, guests can get their fill from a full-service, bodega-style espresso bar with hand-rolled bagels from Ess-a-Bagel, espresso from Bean & Bean Coffee Roasters, and La Colombe cold brew. Grab-and-go offerings include egg sandwiches, wraps, salads, and pastries, while a rotating small plates bar features dishes like wild arugula panzanella and Berkshire pork shank with pea risotto.
  • Exclusive Cheesemonger Experience: Capital One partnered with the iconic, Manhattan-based Murray’s Cheese to deliver an exclusive cheesemonger experience to NYC travelers. The interactive offering invites guests to enjoy curated cheese and charcuterie boards served on handmade ceramics by Franca Ceramics. Tasting experiences are available daily and on a first come, first served basis.
  • Bespoke NYC Cocktails: In partnership with Unfiltered Hospitality and some of NYC’s own award-winning mixologists, the full-service bar features locally inspired craft cocktails, a curated selection of local beers and wines, non-alcoholic beverage options, and more. Highlights include a signature cocktail from Death & Co., rotating local beers like the “Skyscraper IPA” – JFK’s lounge-exclusive “Perfect Airport Beer” – from Grimm Artisanal Ales, and selections from TALEA Beer Co., with select drinks served in custom mugs from Brooklyn’s Recreation Center.
  • Signature Daily Rituals: Capital One’s beloved Daily Rituals will be available via roaming trolley carts delivering elevated moments throughout the day – think Italian-style shaken iced coffee in the morning and afternoon tea service. At JFK, Capital One introduces a new “Midnight Snack” ritual, serving up an indulgent bite around 12:30 a.m., as a nod to the city that never sleeps.
  • Immersive NYC Design: The space includes New York-centric design elements like a Central Park-inspired dining area, a Manhattan-style bar, and over 40 original works by New York-based artists displayed throughout. Expansive windows provide sweeping tarmac views, with additional design details like a hanging glass sculpture by Brooklyn-based Shakuff Custom Lighting that serves as a central focal point for the lounge.
