If you read the blog often, you know I’m a huge advocate and fan of Amex Offers, and contend that using them help offset the cost of annual fees. It should be noted that Amex cards that don’t carry a fee get targeted as well, but often times they don’t get the same offers as my Platinum or Gold cards. Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
