Keeping credit cards long term is a value proposition: Does the credit card ( or credit cards ) I keep create more value than their annual fee? I think American Express ( Learn More ) has done a great job of increasing credit card value and incentivizing customers to hold cards longer via their Amex Offers program.
I write about Amex offers quite a bit as I find them to be extremely helpful in offsetting my $1k+ in Amex annual fees. Here’s a list of Amex cards I keep in my wallet:
- American Express Platinum Card
- American Express Business Platinum Card
- American Express Gold Card
- American Express Blue Business Plus
- American Express Blue Business
There are a bevy of fancy clothing brands and boutiques currently offering a wide range of rebates/bonus points on spend via Amex Offers. From Jimmy Choo offering 15k points after $750 spend to Ralph Lauren giving 5k bonus points on $250 spend there is a wide spectrum. Double check your Amex account to see which ones you were targeted for, but most seem to be fairly universal.
Here’s a list of the ones that popped up in my account
