Amex Offers: Preferred Hotels

Preferred Hotels is a group of over 650 independently owned and operated luxury hotels around the world that are held to a 1600 point inspection to insure a high standard across the membership.  I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Bennett in Charleston via Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts. It was a fantastic stay in the heart of one of America’s most historic and vibrant seaside towns and I’d go back in a heartbeat. Let’s take a look at the current Amex Offer for Preferred Hotels

Cards that earn flexible points and should be used on the bulk of your purchases.

There’s also a Hilton Garden Inn/Hampton Inn offer ($35 off $175) that showed up on just about all of my AmEx cards, although I don’t know if it still shows if you haven’t already added it to your account. The best part (and I think many people don’t realize this) is to use the multiple browser window trick to get the same offer on multiple accounts and use split payments to take advantage of the same offer on those cards (e.g., for a $525 stay at HGI/Hampton, get the $35 discount three times).

      How do you split payment?

      • Miles June 18, 2017

Upon Check out…you could split the payments between the various cards you have the offers linked on 🙂
