As soon as I saw the 200k offer on the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ I knew I’d be applying. $30k spend in 6 months from account opening, or $5k a month, wouldn’t be too difficult for my business to hit..the only concern I had? Would I be approved.
I have 5 Chase business cards issued to 2 different businesses. I recently created a new entity, but it doesn’t have the spend or history that made me think I could get approved for the flagship business card, soooooo I thought I’d use one of my two existing businesses that had Chase history.
Now, one has the Chase Ink Business Preferred®, Chase Ink Business Cash® and the Chase Ink Business Unlimited®. The other has a Ink Business Preferred and an Ink Business Unlimited. Chase can be a bit iffy on adding too many Ink cards to the same entity, so I just wasn’t sure I’d get the go ahead on either card.
Well voila… I got approved after getting and initial 7-10 day message and added my 4th Ink card to one business. Note.. I’m also 2/24

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
