The Best United credit cards offers
United and Chase have a bunch of personal and business credit cards to chose from, and we’ve complied a list of the very best offers you can find on each and every one of them. There was a complete overhaul of the cards…from names, to perks and benefits, and annual fees. The biggest, and probably most confusing aspect of the changes is whether or not the benefits would be useful.

United Personal Cards
United Gateway℠ Card
This is the entry level United Card from Chase that has no annual fee and gets you some basic United benefits like 25% back on food/beverages/Wifi in flight. Personally I would opt for one of the more premium cards where you can offset more of the annual fee with credits, but that’s just me.
United℠ Explorer Card
This is a United credit card that could be beneficial to United loyalists since it comes with a free first checked bag for you and a companion, 2 United Club passes each year, priority boarding, and the 25% in flight statement credit for food/beverage/Wifi. You’ll also get a Global Entry/TSA Pre $120 credit every four years you keep the card + an absolutely long list of potentially valuable credits. Not bad for $150 a year!
The biggest question I have is whether or not most people will get value from the other benefits/credits. For instance, the Avis/Budget credit is United® TravelBank cash, not a statement credit and is across two rentals. The rideshare credits are $5 a month. It’s a lot of keep track of, and I do this for a living.
United Quest℠ Card
This is a true premium United credit card that comes with a $350 annual fee. You’ll get a 10k mile discount every anniversary – which is great. You’ll get a $200 annul United® TravelBank cash credit – great. Those two alone come close to offsetting the fee. All of the other stuff, much like the Explorer are tough to use. The United® TravelBank cash credit you receive on the Avis and Budget rentals is higher, but still split across two rentals and not a statement credit, the rideshare credits are monthly, etc. If you’re looking to hit status you get some bonus PQPs…

United Club℠ Card
This is the flagship United credit card and really only makes sense if you travel a lot on United and want lounge access. Typically, lounge access is going to cost you $750 a year, but this card comes with it as a perk and costs $695. You’re already ahead. You’ll get 20k The other big perk, and this is really important if you like United but don’t have status, is the 2 free checked bags for you and a companion. Those fees could add up fast, and with status requiring higher and higher spend, could end up saving you quite a bit of money if you’re wanting Club access.

United Business Cards
United℠ Business Card
This card is kind of the business version of the United Explorer card. It comes with a $125 United® TravelBank cash credit if you buy more than 5 United flights of more than $100 a year, 2 United ClubSM one-time passes, first checked bag for you and a companion, and if you carry it alongside a United personal card, you’ll get 5000 bonus miles, the rideshare credits, and the car rental credits. For $150 a year, I’d say this is a better card than the Explorer and doesn’t count against your Chase 5/24 number.
United Club℠ Business Card
This is the business version of the Club Infinite card that comes with complimentary United Club access for just $695 a year vs $750 if you bought United ClubSM access without the card. It also comes with Avis President’s Club status ( top tier ), Premier Access on United which includes expedited check-in, early boarding, more award space, and you even get primary rental car coverage. You’ll also get some seat upgrades, 4 United Club℠ passes and credits for car rentals and rideshare. The main reason you’re getting this card is because you value lounge access, so if you value that for your business, this is the way to go.
