Delta has partnered with Equinox ( the luxury fitness brand ) to design an A350 inspired workout program to reduce the effects of Jetlag. They’re spotlighting the LA community, whose focus on health is tops in the world, by offering classes at 3Equinox locations in the city: Westwood, Marina Del Rey, and West Hollywood. Both brands point to a 2014 research document that shows healthier people adapt better to jetlag, and if you can elevate your heartrate you’ll adjust to your new timezone with better efficacy. Recent Travelers, SkyMiles Members, and Club members are invited to take part in class from July 10th until August 2nd. The price? Free.
If you’re unfamiliar with the A350 – it’s an aircraft already designed to fight the effects jetlag through LED lighting, larger windows, and lower altitude cabin pressurization. Delta premiered their first A350 last year – it features an All Suite business class, with doors. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to fly it myself, but it. looks. sick.
Think you’ll attend a class while traveling through LA?
